Binge On Yankee sells for $133,000 at onGait.com

Boca Raton, FL — Binge On Yankee p,4,1:48.3-’24 led a small but select Ron Burke Stable consignment on Saturday afternoon (July 13) when he sold for $133,000 at onGait.com.

Jeff Gillis of Ontario was the winning bidder.

The 4-year-old son of Stay Hungry was coming off thee sub-1:50 miles (two at Pocono) and has seasonal earnings of $58,845. The partnership of Burke Racing Stable, Brad Grant, Lawrence Karr and Weaver Bruscemi were the sellers.

The Burke team also sold Renegade Gyspy 3,1:53s for $51,000 to Dylan Davis of Delaware. The 5-year-old son of Archangel has earned $71,230 in 2024 racing primarily at Hoosier Park. The sellers were Burke Racing Stable, Thestable Renegade Gypsy and Weaver Bruscemi.

Also last week, the partnership of FAC Racing, Joseph Di Scala Jr. and Yannick Gingras sold Swan Flyer 5,1:53f-’24 for $70,000 to Tyler Davis of Delaware. Shermont 2,1:56.3s, a 3-year-old son of Tactical Landing, went for $50,000 to Brendan Davis of Delaware; and Glenn Goller purchased Sunburst, a stakes placed Bettor’s Wish 2-year-old filly from the Chris Ryder barn for $40,000.

Currently in the onGait auction ring are Principle Interest p,2,1:52.3, a 3-year-old by Captaintreacherous racing out of the Brett Pelling stable; Caviart Scotland p,3,1:50.3f, one of five racehorses selling for Wayne Givens’ Legacy Racing Stable; and Saddle Up p,3,1:50.1s, a $275,000 winning son of JK Endofanera racing at Hoosier.
