Edgerton, OH — The Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series visited the Attica Fair in Attica, Ohio, on Wednesday (Aug. 7). When all the smoke had cleared, Katie Remmerswaal and Christina Johnson had picked up victories.
Remmerswaal garnered her first lifetime driving win in the first division by steering Buckeyebollinger N across the finish line first. The winning time was 2:02.4.
Johnson came back to take the second split with Black Tilly. Johnson and Black Tilly toured the Attica oval in 2:01.3.
Lauren Harmon continues to lead the series with 225 points. Mandy Jones sits in second place with 199 points while Leslie Joyce occupies the third spot with 183 points.
The Spring Haven Farm Ladies Driving Series will hold races at two fairs next week. The ladies will compete at the Miami County Fair in Troy, Ohio, on Monday (Aug. 12). They will come back at the Henry County Fair in Napoleon, Ohio, on Wednesday (Aug. 14). Post time for the first race at Troy will be 6:30 p.m. with racing getting underway at Napoleon at 6 p.m.
