Fort Washington, MD — Yall Keep Dreaming is the latest trotter to become a personal ATM for Richard Hans.
The 2-year-old colt by Yall Beneath Me ran his record to six-for-six in 2024 as he dominated six foes in his $10,000 second-leg Maryland Sire Stakes event on Wednesday night (Oct. 2) at Rosecroft Raceway.
Johnathan Ahle guided the colt to a 1:58.4 score, winning by just over eight lengths. Magoo Will Do was second and Swervingmervin recovered from an early break to be third.
Yall Know Me, another Hans pupil, essentially had a 2:00.4 training mile has her rivals all made early breaks. It was her first lifetime win, and Russell Foster was the winning driver.
Brooksforreal continued his steady work, winning for a fifth straight start for driver Corey Braden and trainer John Wagner. He set a new mark in 1:54.1 for his efforts, with More Medhurst second and Classic Cougar finishing third.
Lu’s Darling visited the winner’s circle for the fifth time this year as she was unchallenged in 1:55.2. Eric Davis piloted the homebred of trainer Jerry Nock to the victory. Pawny was second and Caughtupinthehoney was third.
Foster picked up some impromptu Sire Stakes cash as he took over for Trae Porter on Ragtime Red, winning in 1:53.4, as Porter was delayed after fulfilling his driving obligations at Harrington Raceway. It was the seventh straight win for the homebred of David Banks, who is trained by Michael Hall. Mygirlmia was second and Post Jolene was third.
Davis found the winner’s circle with Rusty’s Lancelot, who won for a second straight start for Nock and breeder Andrew Scheller in 1:57.4.
The Open Handicap Trot went to Porter and Coventry Hall for owners William and Sarah MacMillan in 1:53.2. Spy Booth was second and Muscledover was third.
Hugh O’Neil and Jonathan Roberts doubled on the card, as did Braden.
