FINAL EVENING CARD OF THE YEAR SET FOR FRIDAY
The Meadows is now into its fall racing schedule, with three days of racing per week. This week we have one change to our post times, as the Friday evening card will begin at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday remain at 12:45 p.m.
PA FAIR FINALS WRAP UP STAKE SCHEDULE
The final event of the stake season for 2024 will be this Friday evening, with eight Pennsylvania Fair Finals scheduled. Horses competed at various locations across the Commonwealth of PA throughout the summer earning points, and the top eight in each of eight divisions will battle on Friday evening for PA Fair Championship honors. Posts will be drawn on Tuesday for the Friday program.
NEW HORSES ARRIVING FROM MIDWEST
With the end of the racing season in places like Running Aces in Minnesota, The Meadows is starting to see a migration of some trainers heading east for fall and winter racing. Tim Wilson Jr., a longtime participant at various Midwest tracks, raced several horses at The Meadows last week and Aces regular Brady Jenson will soon be headed back to Pennsylvania for the next several months. The Meadows is also seeing an influx of horses returning from the local fair circuit.
