Dover, DE – Itsrockandroll A raced first-over and powered to victory in the Blue Hen Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Thursday (Dec. 19) night.
Sweet Angel Boy rushed to the top easily and set all the early fractions. The opening quarter was :26.2. The field remained in single file as Sweet Angel Boy coasted to the half in :54.4 (:28.2) Itsrockandroll A, the 4/5 betting favorite, pulled to the outside from third and rushed up the backstretch in pursuit of the pacesetter Sweet Angel Boy. Leave It To Leo followed second-over and Wehadababyetzaboy shadowed third-over on the rim.

At the top of the stretch, Itsrockandroll A cleared and started to draw off late. He won by three-quarters of a length in 1:51.1 and paid $3.60 for the win.
Itsrockandroll A ( A Rocknroll Dance) is owned by Elizabeth and Bret Brittingham both from Delaware. Don Brittingham trained and Allan Davis drove. Leave It To Leo finished second. Wehadababyetzaboy finished third. Tim Tetrick drove five winners on the night. Tim parlayed winning four races on Wednesday (Dec. 18) and eight winners on Tuesday.
