Vincennes, FR — On Sunday (Dec. 29) afternoon, the third qualifying race for the Prix d’Amerique for older trotters will be held at Vincennes – this time the distance is just 2100 meters behind the gate – 2100 meters is the sprint distance at Vincennes.
Again, there are four starting spots for the Prix d’Amerique at stake, and this time two of the favorites for the Prix d’Amerique will be in the race.
These are the defending champion, Idao de Tillard with Clement Duvaldestin, and Go On Boy with Romain Derieux.
While Idao de Tillard started in the previous qualifying race, Prix de Bourbonnais, where he disappointingly finished eighth, this is the first time Go On Boy is entering the Prix d’Amerique competition.
Go On Boy won the final of the UET Elite Circuit at Vincennes in October and has since finished second in the Gran Premio delle Nazioni in Milan.
In Milan, it was the Italian Always Ek with Magnus A. Djuse who surprisingly defeated Go On Boy – Always Ek is also racing in the Prix de Bourgogne on Sunday.
The race will be held at 9:15 a.m. Eastern time and can be watched via stream by clicking here – the start list can be seen by clicking here.
