Dover, DE — Wehadababyetzaboy followed cover and steamrolled to victory in the Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Thursday night (Feb. 20).
Adam Twelve was the aggressor early, forcing Itsrockandroll A to secure a pocket seat. Alta Revelry N left from the outside but retreated to third as Adam Twelve controlled a :26.1 first quarter and continued on a headstrong sprint to the half in :55. Captain Cowboy brushed first-over up the backstretch and towed the second-over Wehadababyetzaboy into striking range while 7-5 favorite Itsrockandroll A waited patiently in the pocket.
Adam Twelve continued on the engine to three-quarters in 1:23.1, but the backfield was in motion and closing fast. Captain Cowboy’s bid stalled, forcing Wehadababyetzaboy to circle three-wide. The son of Sweet Lou exploded in the stretch and won by a neck in 1:51.1.

Itsrockandroll A finished second; Adam Twelve finished third.
Jason Green drove Wehadababyetzaboy, who paid $13.20 to win, for owner EVM Racing and trainer Chuck Crissman Jr.
Tim Tetrick drove five winners on the 13-race card.
