Fort Washington, MD — Horseplayers will be treated to over $9,000 in carryovers on the Wednesday (April 2) harness racing program at Rosecroft Raceway.
After going unsolved on Monday, the 50-cent Pick-5 has a carryover of $2,946.52. The traditional (non-jackpot) Pick-5, which comprises races 3-7 and features a low 12% takeout, presents the potential for positive expected value — or “negative takeout” — even with up to $24,500 in new money wagered.
In conjunction with the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program, the Pick-5 will carry a guaranteed total pool of $5,000. Expanded TrackMaster past performance pages for the sequence are available for free download here.
Additionally, the carryover for the 50-cent Jackpot Hi-5, offered in race 10, has grown to $6,462.82. The Hi-5 carryover is paid when the wager has a single unique winning ticket.
First post is 7:15 p.m. (EDT); the Pick-5 is slated to begin at approximately 7:53 p.m. and the Hi-5 at 10:06 p.m. For free past performance pages and The Players’ Guide tip sheet, visit www.rosecroft.com.
