Nichols, NY — Braxten Boyd and Tyler Miller recorded driving grand slams at Tioga Downs on Sunday (May 4).
Miller won four including the featured $12,000 pace with Taking The Miki A ($2.70).

Taking The Miki A, Oaxacan Dream M (Braxten Boyd), and Won Surreal Deal (Colin Kelly) all skirmished for the early lead. Taking The Miki A got to the quarter first in :27.2. Won Surreal Deal went first up to challenge with a lap to go. Taking The Miki A led by a nose to the half in :55.4. She would break lose and lead to three-quarters in 1:23.4.
As they made the turn for home Taking The Miki A took off like she was shot out of a cannon and stormed home in 1:52.3. Alta Mediera N (Mike Merton) was a distant second. Red Carpet Ready (Ridge Warren) finished third.
Taking The Miki A is a 7-year-old mare by Always B Miki. She is owned by Pollack Racing and trained by Jeff Cullipher. It was her second win this season and her 15th career victory.
Miller got his other wins with Divine Right, Red Blooded, and Devious Babe.
Boyd got his wins with Fashion Terror, Raven Banner N, BB Lucky Boy, and Building Boost.
Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Friday (May 4) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
