Nichols, NY — Stonebridge Bomber (Aaron Byron) took the featured $9,000 trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (May 17).
Believer (Chuck Connor Jr.) led to the quarter in :27.3. He slowed things down with a :30.1 second quarter and was first to the half in :57.4. Discus Hanover (Braxten Boyd) came first-up going the backstretch and took a short lead to three-quarters in 1:26.4.

As they made the turn for home Stonebridge Bomber ($13.40) came flying three-wide to take the lead. He had to hold off a late charge from second place finisher Sevenatchi (Mike Merton) to win in 1:56.3. Discus Hanover had to settle for third.
Stonebridge Bomber is a 5-year-old gelding by Muscle Mass. He is owned and trained by Byron. It was his second win this season. He now has 12 career victories.
Braxten Boyd drove three winners on the card. Mike Merton and Ridge Warren each had driving doubles.
Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Sunday (May 11) with a post time of 1 p.m.
