Harrington, DE- Brenda Teague’s Hundred Dollar Man ($4.60, Montrell Teague) and Nick Callahan, Yorwollohan Racing Team and Greg Godbout’s Adam Twelve ($4.60, Corey Callahan) were dead heat winners in the featured $17,000 Delaware Special in 1:51.4 Monday (May 26) at Harrington Raceway.

Adam Twelve set the pace from post position four, leaving the gate alertly and marching the field of six to the opening quarter mile in :27 seconds and half-mile in :56 seconds. Favorite Downers Delight began a first-over assault from last and made steady gains through three-quarters in 1:24.1, while Hundred Dollar Man awaited racing room in the pocket. Downers Delight began to retreat to fourth while Hundred Dollar Man surged down the passing lane forcing a tight photo with Adam Twelve where their noses hit the wire together. Balder Son finished third.
Trained by Clyde Francis, it was the second win of the year for Hundred Dollar Man, a 4-year-old Lather Up gelding. Adam Twelve, a 5-year-old Luckbewithyou gelding scored his 3rd win of 2025 for trainer Nick Callahan.
In the sub-featured $14,500 winners-over pace, Legacy Racing, Rojan Stables and Hazzard Racing Stable’s Armada Hanover ($2.40, Allan Davis) was a 1:53 winner for trainer Wayne Givens over Sprocket and Master Rigger.
Pacing mare Southwind Mina ($2.10, Pat Berry) continued her red hot form spree with a 4th straight win over her male counterparts in a $25,000 claiming event with a 1:53.2 triumph for owner/trainer Andrew Glassmeyer.
Earlier on the card, a pair of veteran class droppers, Evm Racing’s Wehadababyetzaboy ($2.40, Jason Green) and George and Tina Dennis Racing’s Wager On Me ($5, Jason Thompson) won in 1:52.2 and 1:52 respectively.
Callahan drove three winners on the program. Green, Teague and Pat Berry each had two wins on the card.
