Harrington, DE — James Magno and Joe Fonte’s Incaseyoudidntknow ($5.60, Jim Morand) overcame an overland route to notch a 1:52.4 win in the $18,000 Mares Open on Tuesday (June 3) at Harrington Raceway.
Jett Propelled set fractions of :27.3, :55.3 and 1:24.2 while Incaseyoudidntknow mounted a game attack on the outside throughout and eventually wore down the leader for a one-length win. PD’s Gem closed boldly late to nip Jett Propelled for second.
Incaseyoudidntknow, trained by Les Givens, notched her fourth win of the year and 42nd career victory. It was one of three wins on the card for Morand.
Joining Morand with a triple was driver Jason Thompson, who teamed up with trainer Joe Columbo for a trio of victories. All three winners, Daddyofemall ($22.80), Gogettermisscheddr ($5.80) and Seriously Fearless ($4.60), were owned by George and Tina Dennis, with two being co-owned by Curtis Larrimore.
Barton Dalious, Rick Still and Allan Davis each had a driving double.
