Nichols, NY – Father Mike (Colin Kelly) won the $11,000 featured pace at Tioga Downs on Saturday (June 7).

LG’s Jaxon (Dan Rawlings) was first to the quarter in :28.2. Father Mike ($5.70) came first-up from third and took control with a lap to go. He led to the half in :57.3.
Conrad Dipoggio It (Mike Merton) came first-up to challenge going down the backstretch. Father Mike was first to three-quarters in 1:26.3.
As they made the turn for home, Father Mike found another gear and won easily in 1:55.4. Conrad Dipoggio It had to settle for second. Stonebridge Bomber (Aaron Byron) finished third.
Father Mike is a 4-year-old gelding by Father Patrick. He is owned by the Hero Stables and trained by Jamie Daley. It was his third win this season he now has nine career victories.
Tyler Miller had a driving grand slam. He was first with She’s Bubbly, Lava Field, Coventry Hall, and St Lads Dark Angel. Ridge Warren had a driving hat trick on the card..
Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Sunday (June 8) with a post time of 1 p.m.
