Columbus, OH — Owner/trainers had an almost complete sweep of the four divisions of the $20,000 Buckeye Stallion Series events for 3-year-old trotters at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Tuesday (July 9).
Trainers Tami Hartman and Mark Winters owned their fillies in partnership as they went to the winner’s circle. Long Armof Justice and Trevor Smith won their division in 1:54.3, while Harman’s Rose’s Destiny and Luke Hanners went in 1:54.

Rose’s Destiny left from post five, was parked to the opening quarter and then led at every call to win by four lengths over Up (Chris Lems); Tankfullaluck (Brett Miller) was third. Rose’s Destiny, the 3/5 favorite, is owned by Hartman in partnership with Karen Zapata and has now earned $53,080 in 16 lifetime starts with two wins this season. Tuesday’s win time was a new lifetime mark for the Muscle Up The Goal filly.
Winters’ Long Armof Justice was a bit of a longshot, at 10/1, who got away fifth from post three and came second over but then dove to the inside to come up the passing lane for Smith. The duo won by three quarters of a length over Travel Nurse (Miller); Aunt Lilly (Kayne Kauffman) finished third. Long Armof Justice is owned by Winters, Ronald Glover, Jeremy Mcgraw and Mitchell Bean. The Long Tom filly now has $45,262 earned in 27 lifetime starts, with eight wins, six of which were taken as a 2-year-old.
Anette Lorentzon took the first division for ACL Stuteri AB with homebred Iwillmakeuproud AS in 1:55.3. The other division of the Buckeye Stallion Series was won by another homebred, Count On CC, who also came first over to win by a head over Thelastlioness AS (Noble), while Sweet Rose’ (Lems) was third.
