Grove City, OH – Some great prizes will be up for grabs when the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association hosts its TV and Tickets Giveaway at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Saturday (Aug. 2).
The five grand prizes include tickets to a local college football game, 55-inch television, Roku stick, and a one-month subscription to Racetrack Television Network.
The contest is free to enter and open to anyone 18 years and older. No purchase is required, but contestants must be present to win.
Contestants will be selected randomly from entries collected that day. Those selected will draw an envelope that will have the name of a horse for the corresponding race. If that horse wins, the contestant will win the prize package. All other contestants will receive a $25 gift card to The Brew Brothers restaurant.
Prizes will be given away in races 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
The TV and Tickets Giveaway is part of the three-day Ohio State Fair meet at Scioto Downs from Thursday (July 31) through Saturday (Aug. 2) that serves as the first leg of the Ohio Triple Crown.
The OHHA and Eldorado Scioto Downs will also be hosting a free horseshoe decorating event near the program stand on Friday and Saturday from 5:30-8 p.m. each evening. All ages are welcome to participate, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
First-race post time at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is 5:45 p.m.
