Columbus, OH – Stallion owners are reminded that the List of Mares Bred (LOMB) are coming due. Submissions sent via email, fax or done through USTA Online Services are due Sept. 1; those mailed in must be postmarked by Sept. 2 due to the Labor Day holiday.
Submissions sent in by the dates listed will receive the on-time fee of $5.00 per mare. LOMB’s submitted after this date will be charged $25.00 per mare.
Stallion owners can submit a LOMB in various ways:
– via Online Services
– on a LOMB submission form, which can be mailed, emailed or faxed in to the USTA office
– an electronic file for automated entry; guidelines for file format are found here
Once LOMBs are recorded, stallion owners, authorized agents or lessees can release mating certificates electronically through their USTA MyAccount. If you request paper mating certificates, those will be mailed to the first listed owner or lessee starting the end of October.
Visit the Breeding page of the USTA website for FAQs from stallion owners. USTA Member Services is available from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (EDT) Monday through Friday at 877.800.8782 or by emailing memberservices@ustrotting.com.
