Allentown, NJ – Mique Ann Malibashka, 76, of Cream Ridge, New Jersey, passed away on Aug. 16, 2025.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Bayonne, Mique supported herself from a young age working as a bank teller. She met the love of her life, Thomas Malibashka, when she was 20 years old, and they were married for almost 50 years. In 1979, they settled in Cream Ridge, N.J., where they established Camelot Farm and raised their two children, Stacie and Brett.
Mique and Tom shared a deep love of horses and farm life, and also worked side by side at White Birch Farm – he as a horse trainer and she running a beloved lunch truck for many years. Mique was known for her tireless work ethic, love of family, and strong sense of independence. After Tom’s passing in 2015, she proudly continued to live and manage the farm on her own.
Family was at the heart of Mique’s life. She cherished time spent with loved ones, especially during annual family vacations in Ocean City, Md., and large Thanksgiving gatherings that she joyfully hosted. She always found a way to add more seats to an ever-growing table.
Mique was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Malibashka; her son, Brett Malibashka; and her siblings, Kathy Langton, Patricia Connors, and Tom Connors. She is survived by her daughter, Stacie Mintz, and Stacie’s husband, Howard; her grandchildren, Rachel, Jessica, and Brian Mintz, and Anderson Malibashka; and Rachel’s fiancé, Jack Moore. She is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Mique will be remembered for being strong yet very warm and loving. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 20) at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Allentown Public Library, PO Box 383, Allentown, N.J. 08501.
