Harrington, DE — David Banks’ Ragtime Red ($4.40, Allan Davis) was a 1:53.4 winner in the $18,000 Fillies and Mares Open on Tuesday (Sept. 2) at Harrington Raceway.
The lone filly in the field versus older mares led the eight pacers through fractions of :28, :57.2 and 1:25.3 and prevailed by a length over Grandeur Seelster and Incaseyoudidntknow.

The homebred Getitoffyourchest-Red High Heels filly has won 13 of 20 starts in her career to date and passed her first test versus Open mares with flying colors. She has had most of her success in Maryland Sire Stakes action.
Davis quickly amassed three early wins on the card preceding his feature win with triumphs in both halves of the daily double with Pure Princess ($5.40) and Parkavenuelisa ($3.00).
Trainer Andrew Stafford had three wins on the card, two of which were driven by his brother Art Stafford Jr., who had four wins on the card, including a pair for trainer Jason Skinner.
