Berlin, MD — A very successful 48 day harness meet at Ocean Downs came to a close Wednesday, September 3, 2025 with a dual celebration of the leading trainer and driver at the popular vacation land oval.
Andrew Fulton, a 49 year old resident of Harrington, DE garnered the training title with 27 wins out of 93 starters and a healthy win percentage of 29%. The training conditioner, who has been around since 2002, won over $165,000 in purse money at the meet , racing basically over night horses.

The driving title went to 36 year old Russ Foster, a resident of Cordova, MD, with 87 wins for the meet and taking home purses in excess of $675,000. His four bagger on Wednesday capped off his great meet. His win percentage was a whopping 19%.
Foster, no stranger to the winners circle, has been plying his trade since 2008.
The racing season in Maryland now shifts to Rosecroft Raceway in Oxon Hill, MD for the fall season. Racing will return to Ocean Downs and the Eastern shore of MD in spring of 2026.
