Milton, ON – The Woodbine Mohawk Park Race Office received the supplemental entry of 3-year-old trotting filly Zette Athena for the upcoming Grade 1 Elegantimage Stakes.
The deadline for supplements to both the Canadian Trotting Classic and Elegantimage closed Monday at noon.
There were no supplements to the Canadian Trotting Classic.
Owned by Gestion J Y Blais Inc., Zette Athena enters the Elegantimage having won six of 14 starts this season for trainer Justin Turcotte. The daughter of Six Pack was recently second in a division of the Grade 3 Casual Breeze on Aug. 22 at Mohawk.
Zette Athena holds a mark of 1:53.1 and has earned $76,212 (CAD) this season.
The fee to supplement to the Elegantimage was $30,000 (CAD).
The entry box for the Elegantimage closes Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m., with eliminations to be held this Saturday (Sept. 13).
The Elegantimage final is part of the rich Mohawk Million card on Saturday, Sept. 20.
