Harrington, DE — Manklin Creek’s Huntress ($3.80, Allan Davis) won her Harrington Raceway debut on Tuesday (Sept. 16) with a 1:53 triumph in the $18,000 Mares Open Pace over a wet racetrack.
Huntress assumed command from early leader Jett Propelled at the :27.4 quarter-mile marker. The field of six marched to the half with Disturbed Hanover and Incaseyoudidntknow heading up the outer flow through middle fractions of :56.1 and 1:24.3. Huntress maintained a comfortable advantage under confident handling from Davis en route to her seventh win of the season.

Jett Propelled was the runner-up with Incaseyoudidntknow third.
The 6-year-old Huntsville mare notched her 44th lifetime win in her first start for trainer Eric Ell after having raced recently in Pennsylvania, New York and Indiana.
Jason Green had a driving triple; Pat Berry, Corey Callahan, Barton Dalious and Art Stafford Jr. all had driving doubles.
