Columbus, OH – The United States Trotting Association has announced that online voting for proposed rule and bylaw changes is now open to all USTA members. Members may cast their votes through their secure USTA account anytime until Feb. 1, 2026.
While voting is available immediately, members are encouraged to attend their district meetings before submitting their ballots. These meetings—some held in-person and others via Zoom—offer members a chance to learn more about the proposals and share their feedback. A full list of district meeting dates and formats can be found here. Meeting announcements will also be emailed to members in advance. Those who do not have access to an online account may contact Member Services at memberservices@ustrotting.com to be mailed a paper ballot.
Nine proposals have been submitted, with the full list available here. Input gathered from the voting process will be shared with the respective district directors in real-time for review. This feedback will be considered at the 2026 USTA Annual Meeting in March, where the final votes will be cast by the USTA Board of Directors.
An instructional sheet on the voting process may be viewed here.
