Dover, DE – Duly Resolved was duly impressive winning the $25,000 Open Handicap Trot at Bally’s Dover on Tuesday night (Nov. 4).

Driver Montrell Teague launched Duly Resolved off the wings of the starting gate from post 6 and set all the race fractions. The opening quarter was reached in :27.2, the half in 56 flat.
The field remained in single file. Speed Away raced from the pocket. All Wrapped up remained along the pylons in third. Navy Blue was parked from fifth but was unable to make up any ground on the leader.
Duly Resolved was in cruise control and an uncontested lead passing the three quarters in 1:24.2..
Duly Resolved, the 9-5 betting favorite, won by three quarters of a length and trotted the mile in 1:53.3.
He earned his 10th victory in 30 starts for the season and paid $5.60 for the win.
Duly Resolved (Resolve) is owned by Pollack Racing LLC of Venetia, PA. Jeff Cullipher trained and Montrell Teague drove. Speed Away sat in the pocket to finish second and All Wrapped Up was third.
The feature race on Wednesday’s race card is the 12th race $21,000 Fillies and Mares Select Pace. Race favorite, Huntress, ships in from Rosecroft were she established a lifetime mark winning in 1:50.2 in her last start
Russell Foster won four races on the betting card.
On Thursday night, there will be three divisions of the Matron Stakes scheduled for 2-year-olds and carry purses in excess of $100,000 each.
