East Rutherford, NJ – Harness racing’s biggest stars will battle on the track this Saturday (Nov. 15), in the 2025 FanDuel Championships & Fall Final Four Finals at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

For the last few years, retirement ceremonies have become the norm on this night of racing, and 2025 is no different.
Seven-year-old Abuckabett Hanover will be honored in the Meadowlands winner’s circle following his final start in the FanDuel Championship Pace Final (Race 7).
“Bucky has changed my life. I am incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with him,” trainer Andrew Harris stated. “I’ll miss him in the barn, but I’m happy he will go on to a new chapter, which he will be excited about. Thank you, Bucky.”
Abuckabett Hanover, aka Bucky, the 2024 Dan Patch winner with over $2.1 million in earnings, has recorded stakes wins in Potomac Pace, Dayton Derby, William Haughton Memorial, Dave Brower Memorial, and Tattersall Pace. He also took home the 2024 FanDuel Championship.
“Abuckabett Hanover had a tremendous 2024,” Meadowlands COO & GM Jason Settlemoir said. “I am grateful I was able to watch him capture three of our major stakes races that year. He has been a great racehorse for co-owner William Pollock and I appreciate all the positive energy he (Pollock) was brought to the sport over these last few years.”
