Dayton, OH — Hey Hey Mama and Luke Hanners cruised to a 1-1/2-length victory — their third in a row — in Thursday’s (Nov. 20) $28,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.
Fearless Ginger (Chris Page) battled with Hey Hey Mama early in the mile before yielding to the pocket and allowing Hey Hey Mama to control fractions of :26.4 and :56.
High Flyin’ Filly (Brett Miller) was the first to move from last and applied mild pressure at the three-quarters in 1:24.
Hey Hey Mama was put in another gear and drew away in the lane to score in 1:51.3.
Fearless Ginger came up the passing lane for second. High Flyin’ Filly held on for third.

In the $17,000 conditioned pace, Feetmadefordacin (Jeremy Smith) used a stalking trip to score an upset victory in 1:52.4.
Racing For Three (Trevor Smith) timed the gate at the start, but Sarasota Hanover (Luke Hanners) was a step better from post 8 and led past the quarter in :27.
Racing For Three retook control before the half in :56.1.
Tyler Smith pulled Ally’s Treasure in the stretch, forcing Feetmadefordacin to pull off the rail and start her grinding first-over trip.
Racing For Three and Feetmadefordacin were on equal terms at the three-quarters in 1:24.3.
Feetmadefordancin was able to pull away from Ally’s Treasure by three-quarters of a length at the wire.
Racing For Three survived a three-horse photo for third.
It was the 10th win of the season for the 5-year-old JK Endofanera mare, who paid $31.60 to win.
The winner is trained by Chris McGuire for Johnny Stant.
