Dayton, OH – Easter Jack received a perfect second over effort from driver Brett Miller and recorded his 16th win of the season in the $22,000 conditioned trot Wednesday (Dec. 3) at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.
At the start, start, the top three raced in post position order, with Angel Nation (David Miller) on top at the opening quarter in :27.4. Sayinwhatimthinkin (Trevor Smith) was pulled off the rail from the third position, providing cover for the bettor’s choice, Easter Jack, at the half-mile station in :57.3.

The field of seven bunched up at the three-quarters in 1:25.1.
Brett Miller sent the eventual winner three-wide around the final turn and outsprinted his challengers to score the victory in 1:53.4.
Famous Father (Luke Plano) rallied from far back but came up a length short in second. The pocket sitting Cs Flying Co-Pilot (Clint Coy) out-finished Sayinwhatimthinkin for third.
Amy Husted trains the four-year-old son of Dover Dan for Kyle Husted and John Schwarz.
In the $19,000 conditioned trot, Luke Hanners gave Elegant Resolve a perfect pocket trip to score a 9-1 upset over the pacesetting Pizzelle (David Miller) in 1:55.
E-pass (Chris Page) and Elegant Resolve battled for early command, with Pizzelle caught three-wide in the first turn.
David Miller was forced to send his charge to the lead at the quarter in :27.3, half in :56.2 and three-quarters in 1:26.2.
Luke Hanners pulled Elegant Resolve out around the final turn and cruised past the favorite by 2 ½ lengths at the wire.
My Pal Sparky (Cam McCown) rounded out the trifecta.

Luke Hanners would go on to win four races in his seven starts on the night.
