Cumberland, ME – Cumberland’s annual winter pop-up series kicks off the transition to three days of racing each weekend on Friday (Dec. 5) at 10:55 a.m. (EST).
The first leg of the Vixen Pop-Up Series enjoys three $6,500 divisions on the Winter Festival’s first Friday program, which features a conditioned class of fillies and mares on the pace.
The Vixen series continues next week with a purse of $7,500, and a final going for $10,000 on closing day Sunday (Dec. 21).
The Pick 5 starts with the third race; our Pick 4 highlights the fifth, and our High-Five Pentafecta in the finale, all with low 16% takeouts.
Racing continues on Saturday (Dec. 6) at First Tracks Cumberland with the two divisions of the $6,500 Prancer Pop-up series for trotters on the nine-race card.
Cumberland Raceway will continue with three days of harness racing each week (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) through Dec. 21. Post time remains 10:55 am.
