Columbus, OH – As the 2025–2026 USTA membership meetings wrap up this weekend, all current U.S.Trotting Association members are encouraged to make their voices heard by voting on the 2026 rule change proposals. Online voting is open through each member’s secure USTA account, with the deadline of Feb. 1, 2026, to vote.

A total of nine rule change proposals were submitted late last summer. Members can review the full list of proposals here, along with sponsor statements.
Feedback collected through online voting and district meetings will be shared with each USTA Director and published on the USTA website. All input will play a role in shaping the discussion at the 2026 USTA Annual Meeting March 6-8, 2026 at the Hilton Columbus at Easton in Columbus, OH, where final votes on the proposals will be cast by the USTA Board of Directors.
