Elma, NY – John T. Glair, 83, of Elma died Jan. 20, 2026.
Mr. Glair was born April 12, 1942 in Buffalo. He spent most of his years as a harness horse trainer. He also was the owner of Trottin Tack Harness Shop.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Henrietta Glair; and siblings, Eleanor (late Jerry), Henrietta, Theresa (late Ed), Joseph (late Donna), Thomas (Patricia) and Paul.
Mr. Glair is survived by his wife Sandra (nee Gisel) Glair; daughter Melinda Loefke; grandchildren Andrew (Lisa) Loefke, Rebecca (Max) Thayer, and Benjamin (Megan) Loefke; great-grandchildren Felix, Ashley, Isaac, Cullen, Carter, and Chloe; siblings Frances (Bob), Becky (late Murray), Marie, Michael (Nancy); and many family and friends.
Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Monday (Jan. 26) from 1-5 p.m. A prayer service will immediately follow.
