Washington, PA — Ronnie Wrenn Jr. reached a milestone at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows on Thursday afternoon (Feb. 5), making it to the winners circle for the 9,000th time in his driving career.
The 39-year-old reinsman entered the day with 8,997 victories, then won two of the first four races on the card. In race 6, he sent trotter Green Meadow to the front just past the quarter and held on for a narrow victory in 1:58.2 for career win No. 9,000.

Justin Mullett trains Green Meadow for owners Courtney Gramlich and Gabriel Miller.
Wrenn, who finished the day with five wins, now sits at 9,002 in his career, which started in 2008. Six years later, he had a career-best season with 847 wins, and has won more than 500 races every year since 2013.
Wrenn and the rest of The Meadows’ driving colony will be back in action on Friday (Feb. 6) with a 14-race card slated for a 12:45 p.m. start.
