Lebanon, OH – Flight Of Fritz used a ground saving trip and a stretch rally to upset in the $22,000 N/W 10PM claimer, the feature on Tuesday night’s (Feb. 24) Miami Valley card.

Starting from post two, Flight Of Fritz was taken back by driver Brett Miller before settling in sixth along the rail as the field was led to the quarter in :28 by Unhinged.
As Unhinged led the field to the half, the outer flow developed but was not joined by Flight Of Fritz who was shuffled to seventh along the rail through the half and three quarters in :58.1 and 1:26.1.
Around the final turn and into the stretch, Flight Of Fritz moved five wide and began his chase with a host of others as he eventually lassoed the leader Unhinged to just get up by a nose at the wire in 1:56.3. First Class Rule rounded out the trifecta in a five-horse photo for the win.
For Flight Of Fritz, the win was his third of the year and third since moving west to the Mike Hitchcock barn.
Driver Brett Miller had a grand slam on the card while Chris Page and Austin Hanners each had a double.
Racing resumes Wednesday night (Feb. 25) with a 4 p.m. post.
