Milton, ON – The Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) program coordinator would like to remind all participants with OSS-eligible yearlings that yearlings must be registered at the time of nomination and Standardbred Canada requires that the DNA and microchipping be completed before the foal is registered.

The nomination deadline for OSS No. 55 is May 15, 2026.
Foal owners looking to have DNA and microchipping completed are advised to contact the Standardbred Canada Identification Technician in their region:

The OSS Yearling Nomination payment – $100 CDN ($80 USD), due on Friday, May 15, 2026 – nominates foals of 2025 to OSS No. 55 to race at two (2) in 2027 and at three (3) in 2028. Yearling nomination payments received after May 15, 2026 are considered late and increase to a fee of $500 CDN prior to Aug. 17, 2026.
