Saratoga Springs, NY — Beau Bear completed a training double for Andy Gardner on Tuesday afternoon (March 3) at Saratoga Casino Hotel with a 2:02.1 win in a $9,000 conditioned trot.

The young trotter recorded a pair of wins in 2025 in his first full season of racing and has already secured two more just five starts into his 2026 campaign.
Beau Bear and driver Leon Bailey grabbed second-over cover approaching the half and wound up tipping three-wide at three-quarters in pursuit of Six And Stones (driven by Brett Beckwith), who carved up all the fractions to that point as the 9-5 second choice. The Gardner trainee pressed in the stretch to defeat Six And Stones while long shot Pastor’s Nightmare (Irvin Crews) got up to finish third.
Beau Bear’s stablemate Mass Cara, in line to Beckwith, prevailed earlier in the day when she secured a pocket trip in a low-level conditioned race before surging in the passing lane to secure her first seasonal victory.
There will be a $5,377 carryover in Saturday’s (March 7) early 50-cent Pick-5, which begins in the first race. First post is noon.
