Blacklick, OH — Just 30 days ago, Prolific Equine launched its Facebook page and posted its first video. It has already reached over 1 million views and tens of thousands of reactions and comments from all over the world from horse enthusiasts of all disciplines.
“My goal is just to create a huge awareness as we get thousands of additional people interested in harness racing,” said Greg Luther of Prolific Equine. “I’ve been giving tips and tools and stories from my experience with horses and it’s taken off into something we can hardly control during the very first month.”
So far, Prolific has already published “feel good” stories about Standardbreds; tips about feeding hay, managing horse health. and foaling newborn colts and fillies; and discussed barn safety and quality construction of buildings, fences and more.
“I thought it would be fun to just load a few videos and connect with more people in the horse world,” said Luther. “The only thing I have to offer is a free glimpse into a major racehorse operation, and the feedback and direct contacts have truly become overwhelming. I’ve had to back off on the information I put out because I am just doing this for fun and the nonstop interest has been all-consuming. I think it’s an outstanding step for our sport, and I truly hope people watch to see how they can do the same for the industry that we all love.”
