Harrington, DE — Brian Frazier’s Nite Time Deal ($10) was a 1:55.2 winner in the $22,500 Mares Open Pace on Tuesday (April 14) at Harrington Raceway.
Fengshuiprosperity (driven by Pat Berry) took the early lead from post 4 and led through fractions of :27.4, :56.3 and 1:25.2 before Nite Time Deal and driver Art Stafford Jr. surged down the inside off a pocket trip and drew clear by a length for her fifth win of the season.
Jett Propelled closed gamely for second narrowly over Fengshuiprosperity.
Trained by Chuck Crissman Jr., it was the 21st career win for the 7-year-old American Ideal mare.
Stafford and Tony Morgan each had three wins on the card. Russell Foster had a double.
