Hamburg, NY – The 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby is quickly approaching and Buffalo Raceway has three different ways you can enjoy the race on Saturday, May 2.
The popular Dine & Derby Party is back once again at Buffalo Raceway.
The cost is $65 per person and includes a catered buffet from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m., exclusive promotions and giveaways including a Kentucky Derby glass. Party-goers will also receive programs to both the Buffalo Raceway live program and for Churchill Downs.
There’s a cash bar (starting at noon) with drink specials throughout the day, a best dressed and best hat contest. Mutuel tellers will also be available for party patrons only. The event will take place in the Carousel Rooms located downstairs of the clubhouse.
Reservations must be made by April 25 or until sold out by calling 716-649-1280, ext. 6490, or by going to www.buffaloraceway.com and clicking on the Dine & Derby tab where you will be available to pay on-line.
Buffalo Raceway will have a live harness racing card set on Kentucky Derby Day with a special post time of noon.
As usual, there will be free parking and admission to the clubhouse. Reservations are not accepted as seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The Clubhouse Sports Bar will open at 11:30 a.m. with Mint Julep specials and there will be a limited food selection. The clubhouse will remain open through the Kentucky Derby with simulcasting from other tracks across North America available.
Should just want to place a wager for the Kentucky Derby, the Derby Express area will once again be open in the Clubhouse group section. It’s easy in and easy out to place your bets on the big race.
