Harrington, DE – George and Tina Dennis’ Every Day Dan ($4.00, Mike Cole) was a 1:55.2 winner in the $22,500 Open Trot Wednesday (April 22) at Harrington Raceway.
Every Day Dan left alertly from post position three to cut the mile for the second straight start with fractions of :28.3, :58.3 and 1:27.1. With Greenspan giving chase first-over in the stretch, Every Dan Dan drew off to an open length win. Greenspan held second over Dyladmar. Trained by Joe Columbo, it was his third win of the season.
In the $18,000 Open II, Tlb Racing and Dylan Davis’ Ever Clever ($5.40, Pat Berry) was a repeat winner in 1:55.1 for trainer Traci Berry.
Crissman Inc.’s Some Waratah A ($10.00, Tony Morgan) notched his 45th career win in the first race on the card. The Somebeachsomewhere gelding was a wire-to-wire winner for trainer/co-owner Tim Crissman.
