Nichols, NY – Driver Braxten Boyd collected seven wins on the card, including the featured $14,000 Open Trot with Tuis Angel, at Tioga Downs on Saturday (May 9).
Enola (Mike Merton) led to the quarter in the feature in :28.3. She used a :30.2 second quarter to stay in front, racing to the half in :59. Tuis Angel ($4.42) made her move first-over from third heading down the backstretch, but Enola remained in control, reaching three quarters in 1:27.2.

Tuis Angel and second-place finisher Enola battled through the stretch, with the winner using a late surge to hit the wire first in 1:56. Ramborain (Dan Daley) finished third.
Tuis Angel is a 5-year-old mare by Andover Hall. She is owned by Pamela Kimmel, James Rappold, and trainer David West. The victory was her second this season and the 11th in her career.
The “Michigan Missile” also reached the winner’s circle with Fashion Terror, I’m A Believer, Ideal Beauty Queen, April Ava, Suits Me and Spittin Chicklets.
