Nichols, NY — Ridge Warren had a driving grand slam, including a win with Aint She Pretty in the featured $7,500 distaff pace, at Tioga Downs on Friday (June 12).
In the feature, Bluebird Bella (Kyle DiBenedetto) went to the front and led to the quarter in :27.1. She used a :28.2 second quarter to be first to the half in :55.3. She maintained the lead to three quarters in 1:23.1.
As they made the turn for home, Aint She Pretty ($8.18) popped out of the pocket and wore down second-place finisher Bluebird Bella in the stretch to win in a lifetime best 1:51.3.
The Hunt Is On (Kyle Swift) finished third.
Aint She Pretty is a 6-year-old mare by All Bets Off owned by Henry Ottinger and Michael Walters while trained by Dustin Miller. It was her second win this season and her 21st career victory.
Warren’s other wins came with KD’s Mik, So Diva and Real Lucky N. Mike Merton had a driving hat trick. Kyle Swift and Jim Pantaleano had driving doubles. Courtney Wright and Michelle Warner had training doubles.
