Grove City, OH – No Approval Needed is now a two-time winner in the Buckeye Stallion Series this season after scoring a victory on Monday (June 22) as Northfield Park Racino hosted four $20,000 divisions of the third leg for sophomore filly trotters.

A winner in the second leg of the BSS on June 4 at Eldorado Scioto Downs in a lifetime mark of 1:54.3, No Approval Needed (Dan Noble) led gate to wire in the fourth division on Monday with fractions of :29.3, :59.4, and 1:29.2. She crossed the line in 1:58.4, three-quarters of a length ahead of second-place Dream Of Charlotte (Braiden Rhoades). Seven Lick Image (Sam Widger) was third. No Approval Needed is trained by Ryan Stahl, who owns the horse with Stephen Reis and Matt Lambert. She has hit the board in all five starts this season with four wins. The Uncle Peter filly has a career record of 9-6-1 and earnings of $64,686 in 16 career starts.
Chip Shot (Chris Lems) recorded the fastest mile of Monday’s BSS races, taking the second division by one and a half lengths in a lifetime-best 1:55.3 in her seasonal debut. Lynn Range (Tyler Smith) was second followed by Mockingbird As (Chris Page) in third. Chip Shot is a Mission Accepted filly trained by Vernon Beachy for owners John Schlabach and Walnut View Farm. She has five wins in 10 career starts and earnings of $38,478.
Lucky Lady Volo (Justin Irvine) won the first division by three-quarters of a length in a lifetime-best 1:56, giving her four victories and $123,621 in earnings in 16 lifetime starts. She’s In (Smith) and Dublins Breanna (Rhoades) rounded out the top three. An In Range filly, Lucky Lady Volo is trained by Erv Miller for owners Ervin Miller Stable, Kentuckiana Racing Stable, and Stepbystep Racing.
In the third division, Supreme Dance (Widger) led gate to wire and won by half a length over Flirtin Tomi (Noble) in 1:57.1 with Topville Lady (Page) in third. It was the third win in eight seasonal starts for the Full Count filly owned by trainer Rosy Weaver and Scott Davis. She owns a career record of 14-6-3 with earnings of $105,593 in 27 starts.
The Buckeye Stallion Series continues Saturday (June 27), with the third leg for sophomore colt pacers at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
