Changes to draw, qualifying schedule this week at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY – With no live racing and the race office closed on Friday (July 3) at MGM Yonkers Raceway, there have been some changes to the upcoming draw and qualifying schedule.

There will be a double draw on Monday, July 6, for Thursday, July 9, and Friday, July 10, with the box closing at the regularly scheduled time of 3 p.m. (EDT).

Also, instead of their usual spot on Friday, qualifiers will be held on Thursday (July 2) this week, with the box closing on Wednesday (July 1) at 3 p.m. (EDT).

MGM Yonkers Raceway is currently operating on a Monday through Friday live racing schedule with post time each night at 6:45 p.m. (EDT). Monday’s (June 29) program features New York Sire Stakes action for 2-year-old pacing fillies in races 5 and 6 and a $10,000 guaranteed Pick-5 pool, done in conjunction with the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program, that also begins in race 5.
