Bucyrus, OH – The thunder of hooves and the excitement of live harness racing will once again take center stage at the Crawford County Fair as drivers, trainers, and Standardbred horses compete in one of the fair’s most cherished traditions. Harness racing is featured both Wednesday, July 22nd and Thursday, July 23rd at 6 p.m.
Wednesday features Wiener Dog Races before the harness racing begins. The Wiener Dogs will pack the grandstand starting at 4PM. Wednesday harness races feature some of the Buckeye State’s fastest freshmen trotting fillies in $20,000 divisions of the Buckeye Stallion Series.
Thursday offers a plethora of fan favorite races with the Spring Haven Farm Lady Driving Series sponsored by the Darmafol Family, the Terry Holton Youth Driving Series sponsored by Smith Farm, and Signature Series races for elite veteran trotters and pacers.
In addition, there will be grandstand giveaways each night. Prize drawings are free to enter and include a host of great prizes, including a new television.
