Hamburg, NY – Tiger Baron ($6.22) made it three straight victories as he cooled off Cold Decked by three lengths in Buffalo Raceway’s co-featured $10,900 pace on Friday afternoon (July 3) in a seasonal best 1:55.1.

For Tiger Baron, it was his third consecutive jump up in class and the improved competition along the way hasn’t phased him one bit.
Ideal Perfect Ten (Wade Tomaszewski) set the early pace with a :28.1 opening marker, but Tiger Baron wanted to be the commander of fractions and hit the half in :57.1 and the three-quarter pole in 1:26.4.
Cold Decked (Kyle Cummings) went three-wide around the final turn but had no luck in trying to catch Tiger Baron (David McNeight III). Cold Decked could only be happy with the runner up spot and the second place check with Ideal Perfect Ten hanging on for the show spot.
Owned by Courtney McNeight and trained by David McNeight Jr., it was the fourth win in 10 tries on the season for Tiger Baron (Western Terror-Shakey Hanover). The victory jumped his seasonal bankroll to $18,068 and to $524,126 lifetime.

In the $10,900 trot, Deliciousstone DK ($4.48) used a seasonal best of 1:57.4 to hold off Whats The Point by a head while I Got The Looks (Dan Yetman) was third.
Starting from the five spot, Deliciousstone DK (Drew Monti) wanted to cut the mile and was successful in doing so. With fractions of :28.,4 :58.3 and 1:28.0 over the fast track, Whats The Point sat in the pocket and had every opportunity down the stretch but Deliciousstone DK was much too stubborn and held on for the victory.
Trained by Darrin Monti and owned by Carl Monti, it was the third triumph in 10 tries for Deliciousstone DK (Wishing Stone-Ashleigh’s Legacy). The score pushed his 2026 earnings to $23,474 and to $193,688 lifetime.
Drew Monti completed the afternoon with four driving wins with McNeight III collecting three and Shawn T Gray a pair.
Racing will continue on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with a 12-race card scheduled. The $14,700 Open Trot and Open Pace are the featured on the program events and will go off as the seventh and eighth races respectively.
