Nichols, NY – You Got It (Braxten Boyd) wins the $12,500 featured trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (July 4).
Purple Lord (Jim Pantaleamo) led to the quarter in :27.1. He slowed things down with a :29.4 second quarter to be first to the half in :57.0. Kinnder Thinktwice (Ridge Warren) went first-up heading down the backstretch as You Got It ($6.56) followed. Purple Lord led to three quarters in 1:25.0.
As they made the turn for home, they were three across the track as third place finisher Purple Lord was inside. Second place finisher Kinnder Thinktwice was in between horses, as You Got It blew right on by to win in 1;54.0.
You Got It is 6-year-old horse by Chapter Seven. He is trained by Joe Pavia Jr. for owners Vince Ferriero Jr., Jeff Hess, and Pint Size Racing. It was his fourth win this season and 17th career victory.
Braxten Boyd and Jim Pantaleano had driving hat tricks. Mike Merton had a driving double. Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Sunday (July 5) starting at 12:30 p.m.
