Manalapan, NJ — The recipients have been named for the 2026 scholarships awarded by the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOANJ) and the Backstretch Community Assistance Program (BCAP).
This year’s recipients are Ava Jo Hayes, attending Gettysburg College; Christopher Pazdan, attending the University of Kentucky; Ryley Fusco, attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Kyra Suleski, attending the University of Tampa; and Colin Height, attending Fordham University.
The scholarships were awarded based on academic excellence, community service, financial need, and affiliation with the New Jersey Standardbred industry.
All students that received the scholarships are enrolled in the upcoming fall semester.
The SBOANJ and BCAP congratulate the winners and their families and wish them success in their future academic careers.
