Washington, PA – Hollywood Casino at The Meadows will air the draw for post positions for the Grade 1 Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids on Wednesday (July 22) at 6 p.m. (EDT) live on primetimeharnessracing.com. It will also be shown on the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association’s Facebook page, and The Meadows’ YouTube page.
The $420,500 3-year-old open pace is presented by 1/ST BET and will be held Saturday (July 25) at The Meadows.
By rule, winners of Adios elimination races get to choose their post positions, with first choice determined by a separate draw. Odds On Mr Mamba won the preliminary draw and will get first choice, followed by Al Papi. The remaining seven post positions will be drawn live Wednesday evening among Another C Note, Frantic Hanover, Loua Dipa, Melillo, Sweet Lovin Lou, Toast Of The Town and Treacherous Lou. Should one of those horses not enter the race, or scratch prior to a Thursday morning deadline, No Waitlist is the “also eligible” horse that would move into the field.
The Saturday card begins at 11:30 a.m. (EDT) and will feature not only the Adios, but two divisions of its sister race, the Grade 3 Adioo Volo Pace for sophomore pacing fillies.
