With the 101st Hambletonian (G1) three weeks away and preceded by Adios Day at The Meadows on Saturday (July 25) the positions of the Grand Circuit standings are shifting.
Jason Bartlett’s lead is now less than 200 points (equals four wins) over Yannick Gingras and Dexter Dunn.
In the trainer category, Ron Burke just took over the lead from Per Engblom.
Lastly for the ones who pay the bills, owners, Punisher 11 Stable LLC (Areman,Harris,Pollock) has made the top.
This week, we host the Kindergarten series at The Meadowlands (1st leg was cancelled for heat) on Friday (July 24). At The Meadows in Pennsylvania, there are Arden Downs races for 2- and 3-year-old trotters along with the Adioo Volo (G3) for 3-year-old pacing fillies and the feature signature event the Adios (G1), a 3-year-old open pacing event final.
The Meadowlands on Saturday hosts the 3-year-old Tompkins-Geers event for 3-year-old trotting fillies and colts.
