Washington, PA – Here is this week’s Meadows Monday Memo:
THANK YOU FROM THE MEADOWS RACING
The racing team at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows would like to thank everyone that took part in our 2026 Adios Day…from our local horsemen, to the owners that staked and raced, to the bettors that supported the day. It was one of our biggest days ever in track history with nearly $1.4 million wagered, and we received countless positive comments from those in attendance. We look forward to building on that success for next year’s event.
BACK TO ACTION WEDNESDAY
Adios may mean goodbye, but not for The Meadows. In this case it just happens to be the name of the stallion that Meadows founder Delvin Miller honored with our biggest stake race of the year, and our year-round parimutuel racing season picks back up this Wednesday. We are back to our regular summer schedule this week, Wednesday (July 29) and Thursday (July 30) at 12:45 p.m, Friday at 5:10pm, and Saturday at 12:45pm.
QUALIFIERS TUESDAY
Five qualifying races will take place tomorrow (July 28) at 10:30 a.m., at The Meadows. The races will be shown live on the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association’s Facebook page, and archived at youtube.com/themsoa
ADIOS TO RE-AIR ON CBS SPORTS NETWORK
If you missed Saturday’s national coverage of The Adios on CBS Sports Network, the entire hour will re-air this Sunday (Aug. 2) at 2 p.m., Eastern time.
