Nichols, NY — Braxten Boyd scored four driving wins, including the $16,500 Open Trot with Super Duper Cooper, at Tioga Downs on Saturday (Aug. 1).
Super Duper Cooper ($2.62) bolted to the front and led to the quarter in :27.4. He used a :29.3 second quarter to be first to the half in :57.2. He cruised to three-quarters in 1:25.2.
As they reached the stretch, second-place finisher Blackhawk Zette (Ridge Warren) came all-out after the lead. Super Duper Cooper dug in as Blackhawk Zette kept coming. Super Duper Cooper held on to win in 1:53.2. Deadline Hall (Tom Merton) finished third.

Super Duper Cooper is a 5-year-old gelding by E L Titan. He is owned by Pollack Racing and trained by Enrico Robinson. It was his fifth win this season and his 17th career victory.
Boyd got his other wins with Campanzia, Apex Tracker and Bright Expectation. Ridge Warren had a driving double on the card.
