The Margareta Wallenius-Klebergs Trophy—formerly The Jubilee Trophy at Solvalla, a race for 5-year-old trotters—had Jörgen Westholm-trained Dream Mine, driven by Mats E. Djuse, as the heavy favorite on Wednesday evening (Aug. 19) for the $158,000 first prize.

And the pair delivered the expected performance. After a dream trip, leading from start to finish, Dream Mine won in an impressive 1:52.2f mile rate, ahead of Follow Him with Dwight Pieters.
This was Dream Mine’s first start since Menhammar Stud bought a 50% interest in the horse. He is now being pointed toward the Winter Meeting in Paris and will then stand at stud at Menhammar next spring,
Dream Mine is by Menhammar’s top stallion, Maharajah, who is also the sire of the 9-year-old mare Betting Gangsted.
Driven by Björn Goop, Betting Gangsted won the European Championship for Mares in a 1:53.3f mile rate, ahead of Italian mare Clarissa, winner of the last two editions, with Alessandro Gocciadoro in the sulky.
